Amplitude is the march of the transhuman, among the rush of often purposefully detuned and occasionally dissonant flag bearing music of machinekind, we listen to an enthusiastic call to brain-to-brain interfaces and brain simulations running on optical computing hardware urging us to transcend humanity. >H is a collaboration between Malfunct and KNBO, the incredibly aggressive beats belong to KNBO, which is the music of the posthuman, a completely mechanical non-humanoid posthuman form has been achieved, and we are well on our way to a synthetic world mind that encompasses the globe; the serene art of an intelligent agent that far surpasses human level of intelligence is attempted in this hyper-modernist piece. Sleep is the story of an AI hacker who has gotten weary of the rising tide of pseudoscience, apathy and totalitarianism, and decides to enter a cryochamber for a hundred years; we listen to his dark and rebellious feelings before he slips into a long and cold sleep. Cloud City depicts an orbital city around an exoplanet in the not-so-near future with autonomous robots and humans living in harmony; a joyous experience we cannot yet fathom.
